Cella's Round Trip is a digital journal of creative writing and digital art created & run by many cool folks at Ball State including Sarah Chavez, former Writing Center tutor, and ENG 605 students Rachel Hartley-Smith and Ellie Isenhart.

Spooky Girlfriend is a micropress project by Nathan Logan, former Writing Center tutor.


Causes & Student Groups


Walk America: Long-time Writing Center tutor Jason Glassburn is walking across American starting May 2009 to raise awareness of modern day slavery.

Free the Slaves, Ball State Chapter, is a campus group led by Writing Center tutor Phil Call. I've been lucky to watch this group develop as their faculty adviser.

Writer's Community is a student group at Ball State celebrating the written word. They meet each week in the Writing Center and hold or sponsor various events throughout the year. Faculty adviser: Todd McKinney.
